The Ring of Searching was owned by the dwarf kings of Thraxon and used to find prosperous mines. It was lost two thousand years ago when the dwarf lord Albrek went searching for new mines but was never heard from again. It can find those mineral deposits that will yield a great return.
It was found in Gal Tock (in Thraxon) in Albrek’s tomb, during Alex's third adventure. It was placed with his weapons. Thrang Silversmith carried the ring back to King Thorgood in fulfillment of the adventure. The ring was placed in a large golden chest that was lined with velvet.
